Challenge:

How might we make the Risk platform user friendly to scale the platform to larger target audience with different personas?

Approach:

  • Heuristic analysis of the current platform

  • Design recommendations for quick wins

  • Pushed back and advocated for User centered design thinking

  • IA and wireframe designs for new feature requests

  • Down the hallway testing with smaller design updates

  • Accessibility review

  • Usability testing with mixed participants (previous use)

  • Evaluated the overall system with SUS

  • Presented report based on SUS and reported UX, accessibility, short term and long term design recommendations.

Impact:

The output of the project was that I was able to introduce and reinforce User centricity in an agile product development cycle and the platform was now prepared to scale further.
